Export business

The worldview that I gained while traveling outside Japan with nothing but a backpack and actually walking, seeing, and feeling the world firsthand in my student years has made me who I am today.
I always lead business projects with innovative thinking in order to constantly make contributions to society somehow.

Bonsai business

Bonsai business Bonsai was originally derived from the Chinese art form of penjing (potted landscape) during the Tang dynasty and was brought over to Japan in the Heian period.
Although bonsai trees were grown in large numbers during the Edo period and bonsai remained popular as a stylish hobby throughout the Meiji era, the change in lifestyle forced the Japanese people to lose interest in bonsai over time.
While the domestic demand for bonsai trees was on a steady decline, the demand in the European market continued to expand since 1970.
In the West, bonsai became widely popular in a short period of time as it was recognized as an art form and exporting bonsai trees to those regions was relatively easy.
While my work as a French interpreter was the precursor to our bonsai business, most of the customer inquiries initially came from Europe.
However, we currently receive inquiries from as far a place as South America below the equator.
Although it is true that the rate of reaching trade deals with customers is not very high in the plant exportation business as we have to clear the obstacle of very stringent quarantine and some plants that we carry may potentially violate the Washington Convention, our company is working hard every day in order to introduce the fascinating features of bonsai to the world.

Landscape gardening business

Landscape gardening business Our landscape gardening business got its start when we built a Japanese garden at the request of an Italian person whom we met through the introduction of a bonsai importer.
The garden that our team of five landscape artists from Japan created in Italy over the course of a month was subsequently aired on Japanese television numerous times.
Triggered by this opportunity, we started receiving many job offers from various countries around the world.
We undertook projects in such countries as Italy, Spain, and Australia just to name a few.

Australia: Rock garden at Monash University

Monash University, the main campus of which is located in Clayton near Melbourne is a public university in the State of Victoria established in 1958.
Based on the university's request to build a Japanese garden on campus, our team of seven landscape artists traveled to the site.
In accordance with the university's request, we created a karesansui ("dry-landscape") style garden, in which sand and rocks represent mountains and rivers without the use of water, under the philosophy that the perfect beauty comprises raw nature.

Italy: Garden at the Clemante estate

Italy: Garden at the Clemante estate

At the request of an Italian businessman who had a Japanese wife, we visited the Clemante estate in the quiet and upscale residential town of Varese, which is 35 km north of Milan.
The client wanted us to build a Japanese garden for his wife who had to live far away from her home country of Japan.
As we found out that fireflies inhabited the premises, we set up a waterfall while taking their living environment into account and also created a pond into which the waterfall flowed.
We put the finishing touch on the garden by planting Japanese flora such as azalea and tamaryu around the pond.

Spain: Garden at the Mistral estate in Tarragona

It is a Japanese garden in which a stream of water is introduced into a room where there is abundant sunlight.
The water is circulated using the slope beside a staircase.
We arranged locally procured plants as well as stone materials such as stone lanterns that were brought over from Japan to set up the garden.
